When your position as Gamemaster come to an end, will you still play Tibia? Or will you leave the game (forever)?

During my first 3 days after joining the team (once I had created all of those GM characters on every server which took hours) I spent many, many hours GMing. I actually had "older" GMs come to me twice, once to warn me to not burn out, the second to demand that I log off and get some sleep, hehe.
It was nice to know that another member of the team was looking out for my welfare. And yes, she was right, I was getting burned out.
It took a few weeks to find some balance.

Edit to add that I wanted very much to be the best and most active GM Tibia had ever had. I realized after a month or so that trying to live up to that was making my time logged in miserable and backed it off quite a bit.
In those days, of course, 90% of our reports were about botters and spending hours and hours chasing down botters can become extremely unpleasant. So I backed off some and tried to relax and enjoy it more.

All GMs:

What is your main world you are/will be playing on? What motivated you to choose to create a new character on that world when you first started, even before you were/became a Game Master?

Unhappy

In a way im sad for writing here, feels like a Goodbye...wait it is ='(
Feels like posting questions its in a way selfish, having you guys giving your attention to us when it should be the other way!

Thanks for all the time you took solving our problems, sometimes serious, sometimes not so serious at all, thanks for the instant dances and the randomn hellos, thanks for helping us finishing the quests by giving lurers a free passage to the temple, thanks for the advices, the nice answers to our reports, for putting a part of your life in this game for players you have never seen or met in your life....(i could be here all day, there are not enough words to thank you)

This game wont be the same without having you guys around!
Good luck in your rl lifes

Edit: If possible some Gm send me a letter to my Depot in Thais with a signature for having it in my house for homage and remember you!

I'm afraid RL calls for now, but I'm always up for a chat (even once we've lost our capes). Feel free to give me a friendly nudge on Valoria or Secura (on Arya Firethorn or Blueberry Arya).

Thank you all for the fun chat!

We will still be around this weekend - if you did not get a goblet yet, be sure to check out some events that will be held for us this weekend. By then, maybe one of us will be able to sign something for you guys.

Anyway...

I'd like to say hanks to all the gamemasters that participated, including:

former GMs: GM Anthelios, GM Neros~, GM Tavekor, and GM Camlost

current GMs: Myst'Sharion, Leen Leonhart, Arya Firethorn, Dragonas, and Laylee.

I loved working with you all and it was really awesome that we were able to do this. Just about 600 replies!
